Where to buy? Banggood
The Bluedio T6 is an over-ear bluetooth headphone that impressed me at first by the looks. The manufacturer has done a great job in its construction, which mixes metal, plastic and synthetic leather in a structure that transpires quality. And in the hands, they also don’t disappoint. The built quality is clearly above what is found on cheap headphones. The unit I tested is black and yellow, a peculiar mix that, although not very discreet, differs from ordinary, and I think that’s good.
What didn’t please me so much, after a few days using it, was the comfort in my head. Don’t get me wrong, it should be noted that ergonomics varies from person to person. In my case, my head is relatively large, and I realized that after an hour, this headset began to tighten a little, and demanded that I took it off for rest.
It’s not just about the size of my head, since other similar products like Bluedio’s T4S or Blitzwolf’s HP1 did not bother me that way. Therefore, I leave the warning that, although it’s adjustable, it doesn’t have a very wide structure. Besides that, the padding on the capsules and and on the metal handle seemed appropriate to me.
I like the fact that this is already a USB type C device, something even some more expensive alternatives still don’t bring. In addition to working wirelessly, the T6 can also operate in a passive way, independent of the battery, and for this you need a USB-C to P2 cable, which unfortunately is not included in the box.
About the sound profile, this is a headphone in which the frequencies are pronounced from bass to treble in a decreasing way. That is, the bass is the most prominent, with intermediate midtones and treble that may leave something to be desired. In practice, they are headphones with warm audio, interesting for tracks like Hip Hop or some types of electronic music. It’s a close profile to what became famous with brands like Beats.
One feature that draws attention here is the active noise cancelling system, a feature not that frequent in headphones under $70. In practice, however, it doesn’t shine. This system only cancels a first layer of external noise and further harms the bass reproduction. In general, I used the T6 with noise cancelling disabled, since the insulation already provided by the capsules are appropriate.
In terms of autonomy, I got about 24 hours away from the power outlet, listening in interrupted sessions. The manufacturer promises 28, so I think the result was adequate. Depending on usage, it may vary to more or less.
The Bluedio T6 is a beautiful headphone with interesting construction and decent audio for those who enjoy more bassy audio. This is a set that shouldn’t disappoint the average user, who is not so ruthless about the distribution of frequencies. Despite some limitations, it’s a competent item that keeps Bluedio among the viable options for those who are on a budget.
